NOKIA is back with 3 BANG ON Handsets - Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6



HMD Global, the custodian of the Nokia brand, is all set to unveil the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 Android smartphones in India today. After Nokia 3310 refresh launch in India last month, the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 budget smartphones will be unveiled at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon, where details regarding the price in India and availability date of the three Nokia Android phones will be announced. To recall, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 Android smartphones were announced globally at MWC 2017 in Barcelona earlier this year. These are the first Nokia smartphones to hit the Indian market since the Lumia series shut down when Microsoft took over Nokia's mobile business.

It's rumoured that the Nokia 6 price in India will be between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 16,000 while the Nokia 5 likely to cost around Rs. 12,000. The Nokia 3, cheapest of the three, is expected to cost about Rs. 9,000 - of course all these prices are completely unofficial at this point. But with the launch just a few hours away, you won't have to wait to too long for the official prices to come out.

Nokia 6, the best-specced of the new Nokia-branded Android phones announced so far, features a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and a fingerprint sensor below the display. The smartphone was launched at EUR 229 (approximately Rs. 16,000). The Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and was powered by Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset will come with 32GB inbuilt storage, and will support microSD card support up to 128GB, and houses a 3000mAh battery. The Nokia 6 sports a 16-megapixel rear sensor, while the front camera's resolution is 8-megapixel. The company had also announced the Nokia 6 Arte Black special edition model with glossy black body with 64GB built-in storage and 4GB RAM.


Nokia 5 specifications and features
Nokia 5, launched at EUR 189 (about Rs. 13,250), has been targeted to those who want a compact smartphone, and features a fingerprint sensor. For specifications, it comes with a 5.2-inch HD display, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Nokia 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB inbuilt storage. It also supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). Nokia 5 packs a 13-megapixel sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor at the front. Other features of the smartphone include Micro-USB 2.0, NFC, 3000mAh battery, and 4G LTE support.

Lastly, Nokia 3 was launched at EUR 139 (about Rs. 9,750), and has been targeted at those who are looking for a premium-looking handset at a budget. It comes with a polycarbonate body and metallic frame on the sides. For specifications, the Nokia 5 features a 5-inch HD display, Android 7.0 Nougat, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC, 16GB storage, up to 128GB microSD card support, Micro-USB 2.0, NFC, 2650mAh battery, and 8-megapixel cameras on the front and back.

"Nokia X" series launched in India

The Nokia X was announced on Monday alongside the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL at the Mobile World Congress 2014 with a price tag of Rs8,500.
Nokia X software platform is based on Google's Android. The online retailer has stated that the Nokia X smartphone is available from March 15, 2014 on sale. 
 The new platform, Nokia X, is based on the Android Open Source project (AOSP).
The Nokia X+,and Nokia XL have been announced for India as well, and will be launched within the next two months.
The dual-sim phone is power-driven by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm snapdragon processor and 512MB RAM with 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Nokia X options a 3MP fixed-focus camera and does not sport an crystal rectifier flash. In terms of property choices, the phone offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and A-GPS. It comes with a 1,500mAh removable battery and therefore the company claims a chat time of 10.5 hours on 3G and standby time of 28 days.
